The problem

Build a compact vehicle capable of stable vertical flight.

My contribution

Designed the flight controller, integrated inertial sensors, and built a hardware-in-the-loop simulation bench.

The process

Iterated between simulation, bench testing, and short flight tests.

What I learned

A repeatable test setup made each design decision easier to evaluate.
