Privacy, in plain language.
thisismyprofile.app helps you organize and share your professional work.
You choose what becomes public.
Your account email is not shown on your portfolio. Profile and project drafts are private to your account. Publishing creates a public copy of your profile and projects marked for publication. You may optionally display a separate contact email.
What the application stores
When accounts are enabled, Supabase stores account information, saved profile and project content, and feedback. Publishing makes the selected content accessible to anyone with the link. External evidence links are governed by the websites that host them.
This information is stored so you can return to edit, publish, and manage your portfolio and so the operator can review beta feedback.
Optional AI assistance
Résumé text is sent to OpenAI only when you request a draft. The application does not save the pasted résumé text. Generated content stays editable and is only saved when you choose to save your profile. The API request disables response storage; the provider’s own data handling terms still apply.
Editing and removal
Unpublish your portfolio to remove public access through this application. Saved edits update the public copy only after you publish again. Deleting a project from a draft also requires publishing changes to remove it from an existing public copy. Copies already made by other people or search engines may remain.
Local demo
Without a connected backend, demo data is stored only in your browser’s local storage. Clear this site’s browser data to remove it. No account is created and nothing is published.
Deletion and support
To request deletion of your account, private draft, public portfolio, and saved feedback, contact support@thisismyprofile.app. For other support, contact support@thisismyprofile.app. The operator will retain account and portfolio information until it is deleted through this process; no shorter retention period is currently promised.
Keep sensitive material out
Do not submit confidential, classified, restricted, private employer, or private collaborator material. Use only evidence you have permission to share.
